(384 posts)214. 1964 Chevy Impala
Silver body, white top, blue interior. I received it in summer 1969 right before my senior year of high school. My father made me take our family's Great Dane with me whenever I drove anywhere other than to school. He (the dog, not my father) sat in the back seat with his head hanging over my right shoulder, drooling all over me. At least no one ever approached the car. He had been sent to training school to become a body guard, which was extremely important when you lived in a rural area with a large population of cows and pigs. It was said that some of the livestock were gang members, like the Holsteins versus the Gurnseys. When you're a Holstein (Jet) you're a Holstein (Jet).
