9. At you least you have a diagnosis for the pain

So it can be treated and hopefully alleviated soon. I knew a guy who had shingles and he said the just the weight of a shirt on his body caused unbearable pain. Wow, I just can’t imagine that kind of pain. On the other hand, I had shingles once with zero pain or rash but I just woke up one morning with a huge blister on my chin and another near my nose. Not a good look! But my doc took one look and said shingles so I guess it really manifests in different forms. She’d also said I was contagious and to stay home from work and any activities around other people for a week. At the time I was under the allowed age of 55 to have insurance pay for the vax, which seemed stupid because obviously younger people can get shingles.

Anyway, I hope you’re feeling progressively better today and are back to your normal self soon!
