Requested proposals for a fairly major project on our house. Specified that only contractors with valid licenses, [View all]

insurance, and bonding should apply. Six guys made site visits and were told they would have to provide proof that they met the criteria previously stated in order to be considered. Only one of the six submitted a quote meeting the requirements. Two did not submit proposals. The remaining three sent quotes with excuses as to why they didn’t have insurance, licenses, and/or bonding. UFB!
