took home ec in junior high. The teacher welcomed them. His sister teased him about making little doll clothes. Of course he did no such thing. Later, he was all ready to cook for his boy scout badge. He lives by himself these days, and he is not a bad cook. He helps me in the kitchen when he comes home.

i chatted with a retired teacher but still subs , says many schools dont teach civics anymore .

I got terrible grades in that, and I was just remembering the apron. I tried to make a fell apart when I presented it.

That was my experience also. I went to Jr. High and High School in Dallas, Texas.

I had to take Latin in order to take French. It was a pre-req. I wanted to learn French and didn't realize the value of
