(310 posts)31. Red plum jelly
I've loved it since I was a child. We had two plum trees in our backyard, and my mother made plum jelly every year. It was wonderful! Unfortunately the trees got old and died many years ago. The store bought variety is very good, but not as good as hers was.

We have tons of the cactus around here, I harvest a modest amount every year to make jelly and wine. It is sublime.
