3. Advantage plans are not

advantageous.

Straight Medicare with a medigap may be initially a little more expensive, but considering the denials of coverage with the advantage plans, it's a much better deal with fewer surprises.

Unfortunately, switching out of the advantage plans is not easy. I defer to those with more specific knowledge.

I just want more people to know that advantage plans are a scam.
