(21,103 posts)33. I just upgraded my vehicle from cassette tape to CD (2018 model, may be the last one to have a CD)
Thrift store had a giant collection of classical CD's for a great price.
Up where I live, one weak FM station of any merit and cellular drops out all the time. Oh, and high beams are on more than off. Country roads.
I am intrigued by old camera gear.
I had the Hasselblad repaired after "only" 50 years of use. A "governor" let go.
The other oldie is a Nikon F2 outfit. Seals turned into dust. I may have them replaced, but the lenses all work on the new mirrorless Z5.
CD's won't last indefinitely, but are OK. I have a few vinyl records, just lazy to rip them on to disk. (the iPod is a lot handier for playing accompaniment)
