Apparently the sanctuary doesn't name birds that it intends to release into the wild.

Hasn't stopped fans of their Facebook page from offering ideas, though, including Rocky (and Roxanne if gender is determined to be female by an eventual DNA test). In that vein, the Sanctuary, apparently to the dismay of at least one would-be-commenter*, has been using they/them pronouns to refer to the eaglet.
