(22,108 posts)When we were kids, it was fun to play inside or out. When our kids were young, I think we played it, but maybe they played hide and seek with their cousins. My husband and I played it with the grandkids, and we all had a great time.
I still like playing Scrabble. I like any word games.
I liked games no one else wanted to play. There was a verbal game called Links, and any number of people could sit in. One person would say a word, and then the next person would say a word that somehow related to the first word. It could mean the same things, or rhyme, could be a pun, just depended on who was playing how creative it got. We played it a few times, but usually everyone had ingested something, so they didn't track lol
There was a game called Blackbox, for 2 players. One person would mark places on a card that corresponded to the game board. The other person would call out coordinates and there were colored chips you'd put along the edge of the board, depicting a hit, miss or reflection. I liked it, but no one else would play. I still have the whole game.
