31. As a proud Canadian..

I tend to avoid most american beers if i can..

I've come to the opinion that most of the 'big name' beers don't take any real care or pride in the making of any more (yes, that includes our most famous export, Molsen Canadian...horrid stuff!)

Most have jiggered their recipes to make them as cheap as possible, too many chemicals, etc. (I remember hearing somewhere that Molsen even changed the Canadian recipe to use rice now as a cost saving maneuver)

I WILL highly recommend Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale though...made straight outta Nova Scotia.

Lovely stuff...full flavoured, no back taste (or headache after 1 or 2 like you get from the really cheap ones)

I have no sympathy for what what happened to the commercial spokesperson for them (he got caught with & posting child porn)

but the commercials were still funny as hell!
