But I do see growth with every movie I see him in. Watching him now on The Power of the Dog.

I saw a video of him when he played Todd on Breaking Bad. He said the writers didn't give him a lot of input and he had to hunt them down and keep asking for information to flesh out the character. And then the day came for him to act in the scene where he kills the kid on the motorbike. He told the writer that they had to give him something. So they told him, You know what happens when you're driving down the road and you see a raccoon in the road. You can't turn right because you'll flip the car and end in the ditch. And you can't turn left because you'll go in the path of an oncoming car. So what do you do? You drive forward and hit the raccoon.

And that was all the information they gave him about playing Todd.
