... one of the most remarkable TV shows I have ever seen. This is in Portuguese, unfortunately with no subtitles, but regardless, I was riveted for the entire 90 minutes the first time I saw this. Subsequently, I was able to d/l a subtitle file to add to the video.

The entire interview is in extreme closeup, and you never see or hear the interviewer. Just a black background. It is very intimate.

Tell me if this puts a smile on your face ... but it's worth scrolling back to the beginning for the entire show.

She is accompanied by her working trio at the time ... amazing rapport. There is a LOT of music in this video, all amazing.

Too bad YouTube does not have a subtitled version ... she talks in detail about her life, and about her connection to the roots of modern Brazilian music.

Watching her face is like watching the weather pass.
