.... was John "Bowzer" Bauman. I had the pleasure seeing them in the mid-70s in Little Rock Arkansas. They opened for the James Gang and Rare Earth. They were fantastic 
live with the oldies, and the James gang came out and blew the roof off the auditorium. 
When Rare Earth came on, about 30 minutes into their performance, the electricity was turned off, and they hit the road vowing never to play Little Rock again. Most of us saw that as a good thing because, yeah, they were that bad.
