.... requests from people and causes that I don't know.

In the last election cycle, I donated money via Act BLUE. NEVER NEVER NEVER again. In that cycle, I stop counting at 137 UNSOLICITED requests from people and causes I don't know.

I wrote filters and unsubscribed, but they kept coming.

At 76 and with failing eyesight (try and get a medical appointment). Months out, only to have it canceled due to weather, illness, etc., etc., etc., then wait for another month or two for a new appointment. And we have INSURANCE.
