Do not engage with them any further.

If they force their way into the house to arrest her, then you are potentially talking about a huge settlement. There was a similar case in California where the police broke the mother's ankle forcing their way into the house to talk to her daughter (again not hot pursuit). That judgement was for $6.7M.
