BREAKING: Trump files Motion to STOP Mar-A-Lago Record Review and appoint Special Master - Meidas Touch [View all]
Two weeks after the search warrant was executed on Mar-a-lago, Trump has filed a motion in federal court asking for a Special Master to be appointed to review the records obtained by the FBI and for the DOJ to stop reviewing the records until a Special Master is appointed.

What is the purpose of a special master?
A special master is appointed by a judge to oversee one or more aspects of litigation. They may be appointed pre-trial, during trial, or post-trial. Judges appoint special masters for a variety of reasons. These masters are almost always attorneys.
