AOC Claps Back At John Kasich's SMUG Lecture

3. I'll not criticize such eloquence nor denigrate this message.

Rather, embellish the sentiment.

As I sat eating my "continental" breakfast at a hotel in central Florida, February 2019, I overheard a conversation. One guy couldn't help but comment on the morning news, CNN (thankfully not Fox) was discussing pending federal legislation etc. He, a bit too loudly, brought all the problems outlined in the news report down onto AOC's head. I was about to interrogate his source of wisdom when another guy and his partner from another table jumped in to raise the ante on the horror of such as AOC (while changing the channel to Fox). Before another sentence could protest, pretty much the whole room came down hard on AOC as the prime example of "stupidity, over reach, bleeding heart, too big for her britches, just a plain bitch, etc." I looked around for any face which might reveal discomfort at so much public anger (so early in the AM, too). There was none. Only hate faces from every face, male and maybe even more baleful from female. Of course there was a vintage military vehicle exposition that day and many of these guys and gals were dressed as soldiers. Most claimed to be ex-soldiers, most were retired officers. And as if to prove their point the hotel parking lot looked like the properties lot for a MASH episode. My wife and I happily took the one lonely Subaru in the lot away from that sad, eye-opening display.

Well, here's the takeaway. If a single person can be the brunt of so much hatred from people who don't even know her and have no compunction about exhibiting their own dimwittedness so proudly and loudly then that single person is probably 100% in the right, such is AOC!
