In reply to the discussion: Wall Street Titan: Bernie Sanders Will Help the Real Economy [View all]Babel_17
(5,400 posts)28. I own an amazingly functional older tablet ...
that like many others doesn't have a replaceable battery. It can still do everything (It's a HTC Flyer) but it doesn't hold a charge like it used to. True, it exists only as a backup for me, but the principle is important. Kudos to Toshiba for offering one with a replaceable battery at the time, but I thought it was too big to fit my needs.
P.S. Another little thing. Two name brands of electric toothbrushes; the Colgate version allows you to swap out the battery, the other doesn't, it's soldered in. Colgate even has one with replaceable brush heads, but the reviews suggest it needs a revision.
Both my rechargeables died, and I was looking for a temporary fix.

Nice to hear a "Wall Street Titan" explain the benefit of a more direct form of economic stimulation

Democrats moving back to building up the Social Security program is helpful to that

As long as there's no penalty for parking money offshore, that's what they'll continue to do.

We only want to “shoot every third person on Wall Street,” burn only 99% of the rest at the stake

This man is not a "Wall Street expert"; he specializes in the secondary art market, as noted.

Didn't Clinton sign the repeal of Glass-Steagall, allowing banks to become "too big" ?

Didn't Bernie vote Yes on the deregulation of derivatives, which is more directly linked?

Regardless of the issue you raise, are Bill Clinton's hands "clean" in this matter or not ?

Are Bernie's hands clean? And why are you so intent on blaming Bill Clinton for Bush's disasters?

I agree... You see partial facts in the attempt to discredit all the time...
