Republicans want to protect free speech for themselves and no one else

3. I'm afraid a few of our rights and liberties are going to have to be agreed upon by us

to be amended somewhat, once we get rid of this disgrace. We see what allowing them to have free rein with speech does to everyone around them... and even those at a long distance. People like trump, bannon, miller, and others... as well as just tried and true maga creeps are going to have to be muzzled to one degree or another. The rest of us will be, as well, but laws can be written where that kind of terroristic hate speech is not allowed while general criticism is okay. Germany had this kind of thing under control for decades, until bannon went over there and stirred things up. And who gave them bannon? America's freedom of speech. Italy, at least, through him out of the country when we went over there to stir up trouble.

It's hard to hang on to nice things when you have so many others who want to tear them all to pieces. It will take years to become ingrained in the soul of america, but once it does maybe things could ease up.
