6. Grant as President, and indeed a General, fought against racists.

Scott is a member of a white Supremacist party.

President Grant smashed the Ku Klux Klan in his day, only to have it revived and smashed again.

Scott is a member of a party of Klan revivalists.

President Grant has had his sterling historical record besmirched by racist white Supremacists for long enough. (I personally consider him the second greatest President of the 19th centtury.)

He does neither deserve nor need a self serving member of a racist party denigrating him by self comparison.
