(135,425 posts)Your very first link talks about a march against brutality that happened well AFTER the first incident in Oakland which happened several days before when those idiots took the flag from the city hall and burned it. That was in OCTOBER of 2011.
I don't want to know about marches that happened in response to incidents. I don't have a clear idea why a bunch of morons broke windows and busted into the city hall and destroyed city property and burned a flag.
And you apparently don't, EITHER.
Your second link focuses on that kid who got hit in the head by the cops. It says they were marching to "reclaim their camp." Gee, that's a pressing social issue. No, wait--it isn't a pressing social issue.
Your third link jumps ahead to an entirely different time period, from Oct to Jan, and talks about a group of people wanting to appropriate property that wasn't theirs for use as a community center. How did that work out?
Your video isn't from that OCT demo, it's from the following MAY. The people in it are demanding a "general strike."
How did that work out? I remember--it didn't. People went to work that day.
