The protesters have a mind of their own. Oppression will make them more determined. Occupy dwindled mainly because they were allowed to be divided from within, particularly by commentary like your own (one flag burning picture and everyone lost their fucking mind).

In the beginning it had somewhat of a face of a leadership but those dudes aren't in control. It's youth radicalization. Nothing can control it. When yuppies with iPhones are building fucking concrete barricades you know shit is crazy. It's the wonderful, amazing, mindlessness of self-actualization.

It can go any way. But one damn thing is for sure. Crackdowns empower. Occupy got big because of the early crackdowns that were resisted.
