keep up the educational effort! I only have a few R associates & there's little opportunity for taking their temperature. They tend to be business sector conservatives, so I know they must be conflicted by all this. And I would hope that younger conservatives are not buying this jerk back into the 19th century. They're generally more open-minded than their parents.

Moral Mondays reflects the ethnic makeup of the state. It's a fusion movement with 150 citizens groups represented. But Moral Mondays owes everything to the wisdom and vision (and organizing powers) of the NC NAACP. It is they who have provided the model for unified and consistent non-violent civil disobedience against these jerks in power. They know the response from the people needs to be a stance of dignified and unequivocal resistance. And the leadership and eloquent voice of the Rev Barber is a huge plus. THIS is the spirit of North Carolina! Not what McCrony and the Pirate Sector represent.
