The GOP sees the writing on the wall. At the national level, basic demographics spell the end for their party.
And they know it.

They see the change coming. Gay rights, reproductive rights, a right to health care. All of these things and more, are going to happen eventually. And they know that while the can slow it down, they can't stop it.

So what they are doing now, in every state and local district they can, is burning the oil wells.

They are trying to make as big a mess as they can, while the can.

Doing so slows things way down.

We'll have to stop them and then clean up their mess, again, before things can really start to improve.
