Their fly production plant's on schedule but behind the need, which shows that either Texans' vote in '24 affected Scheinbaum's plans months before the US vote or something else involving planning errors that also affected Mexico is going on. Their plant's coming on line currently, nearing (the press reports) 90% output, but the fly has spread hundreds of miles north of it already. It was supposed to be front-line.

The next state it'll affect is likely to be New Mexico. Ever-Trumper land, apparently.
