6. whether it exceeds the bounds of standard practice (?)

I think we can all agree, this exceeds ALL standards. As do the actions of absolutely every single person on his Cabinet. From millions spent on secret service and other "security" apparatus, to paying grift for legitimate prior investigations, nothing anyone in his cabinet attempts is considered out of bounds. They are all perfectly appropriate for the richest of the rich who serve him. And make no mistake, they serve *him*... not the people. That's why they avail themselves of OUR money to do their bidding and make their lives that much easier. I can only hope the flip side is as appealing to them, if and when it comes.
