Incredible rain rates of up to 6.5" per hour(!!) have fallen in parts of central Florida this evening, especially around Cocoa Beach and Mount Dora. That adds up to totals of over 13" in just a few hours.
EASILY a once-in-1,000+ year rainfall event based on NOAA estimates. #FLwx
