According to Oxford Reference, democratic socialism is a political ideology advocating for socialism to be achieved through democratic means, involving social ownership and control of the means of production while committing to political democracy and opposing authoritarian, revolutionary socialism. This approach distinguishes it from social democracy, which seeks to reform, rather than overthrow, capitalism within existing democratic structures.

All of the countries with the highest Quality of Life on the planet are "Social Democracies" and Regulated Capitalist. INCLUDING the Nordic ones
