couldn't all of Western Europe combined seriously fuck them up? It seems long past time for a combined European force to occupy Ukraine and if Russia continues aggression, take out every oil refinery they have.

Putin bluffs with using more force, but if there was an actual war, he'd be on the losing end and using nukes would obliterate Russia as well. Regime change in Russia is long overdue and it would be in Europe's best interest to make clear that they've had enough. Putin is pouring tens of thousands of North Korean troops into Ukraine, yet it's seen as a provocation for Europeans to directly use their militaries in their backyard.
