(12,430 posts)17. More and more places are charging extra for using a credit card, including my favorite restaurant just started that
so as not to raise their menu prices (as much) while actually charging more. My second favorite place has been doing that for several years.
I have bus fare and soft-drink / snack vending machines in mind when I think of $1 coins.
