CVS and our grocery store pharmacy aren’t even offering appointment reservations on their websites, and Costco says you have to have a prescription. An article in US News & WR says CVS and Walgreen’s will offer the vaccines, but in Georgia prescriptions are required: https://www.usnews.com/news/us/articles/2025-09-20/how-to-get-a-covid-19-shot-and-ensure-its-covered-by-your-insurance

I’ve requested a prescription from my doctor’s office and am waiting for a reply. I sure hope they don’t require patients to come in for a bullshit “consultation” before OKing the vaccination.

It looks to me like the Republicans are following the same playbook used to discourage homeless and poor people from taking advantage of programs that could help them: make the process so confusing, time-consuming, and onerous so that many will just give up.

I don't think it requires talking to a doctor. A couple of questions from your pharmacist will suffice. onenote Sep 19 #7
