(104,802 posts)That article ( better direct link - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_%28United_States%29 - the '%' signs handle the parentheses) links to the ADL page on them, and the last thing that has is clashes between Proud Boys and Antifa in Oregon in June 2021.
The Wikipedia article notes the attack on an ICE detention facility in Alvarado, Texas on July 4th, 2025; but the specific Wikipedia article on that just has "anti-fascist (contested)", and a Texas NPR station has a detailed look at the people charged, and never mentions "Antifa" at all: https://www.keranews.org/news/2025-07-11/prairieland-detention-center-alvarado-u-s-immigration-and-customs-enforcement-shooting-alvarado-police-officer-questions . A local Fox station did say "John Brown Gun Clubs exist across the United States as anti-fascist groups that promote social justice", but Wikipedia redirects "John Brown Gun Clubs" to "Redneck Revolt", which says "they also do not consider themselves an antifa group" - and there's been precious little news about them too in the past few years.
I think "Antifa was a real thing" would be more accurate.
