that can be filled up by any ideology. The syncophants he surrounded himself with this time DO have an autocratic mindset that they have successfully tranferred onto/into Trump. But if Trump was surrounded by liberal syncophants, he'd be one of them/us.

Trump's malignant narcissism makes him easily manipulated. To the autocrats in his administration, he's a useful idiot.
