..is unadulterated theatrical distraction. Statistics confirm the overall crime rate has fallen since a surge during Trump's first term. There has always been crime and there will likely always be some crime. Crime is world wide. But Trump continues to construct a reality to suit his agenda.

If he really wanted to reduce crime, he'd ask Congress to legislate some federal funds to cities so they could hire more cops. But he doesn't give a shit about the crime rate and actually needs it to justify bringing in the Guard and Marines. He's fucking nutzo.
