Did Trump even mention this ONCE during the campaign? I don't think he did.

And I'm sure that no one asked the US Geological Survey for their input. Trump just unilaterally did the name change without thinking about the potential problems it would cause.

I still really can't figure out WHY he did it - what reason he could possibly have. Trump does everything as a transaction, so what did he get out of this? How could he turn this into a moneymaker for himself? Makes no sense.
