Imo the crime initially happened in DC when T stole the files and then transferred them to FL. I know I'm confused on the legalities because this idea keeps getting pushed back at me on here but no one explains why the initial theft from the WH isn't important in filing a case. Yes. He held them unlawfully in FL, but that's not where the initial theft started. That was DC... so I still think it should be refiled there. Why and how is my logic so wrong?
