Full disclosure: as a retiree, the last 2 years have been very bad for me financially with the downturn in the stock market, the absolute devastation of the bond market, and inflation that has reduced the purchasing power of what is left. My only income is Social Security payments that are about the U.S. average. Some of these polls might be oversampling the elderly.

Note this isn't Biden's fault - Federal Reserve policy sets the interest rate, not the White House or Congress or the Supreme Court (yet)
