19. It really is!!

I was shocked to drive through there not long ago to find that, unlike my travels through there in years past, a huge effort at revitalizing the area was in progress.

It's interesting, one can see this happening here and there throughout the country and why some towns catch fire while others continue to decay is beyond me, but I'm sure more hard work as opposed to luck is involved in the success stories. I keep telling myself if only I could get in on the ground floor of just one example of these small town urban renewal projects...

We parked and spent but a few hours antiquing, browsing around a bit before grabbing a bite to eat prior to our leaving but the vibe I got from this new Mount Dora was a gay friendly one if anything. I hope this stupidity by the bigots only increases the number of establishments proudly displaying rainbows and serving as safe places while welcoming LBGTQ patrons and their dollars.
