10. I'm glad they reminded us how this stab at equal justice is being received.

"....... has faced stiff criticism from Republicans for investigating the former president" is important to journalism. It's so important, in fact, that we get renotified at every turn so we remember how important, so that we understand the awe inspiring gravity of the journalism industry's ivory-towered POV.

There's NEVER any mention of the goddamned outrage most Americans swallow in dignity because the former guy still walks loose after fomenting an insurrection against the government because he couldn't handle being voted out of our Oval Office. Nor do they propose that the people are generally cynical about the system because they grow tired of a two-tiered justice system, a situational system exhibited by two-tiered procedures. One justice to accommodate the needs of the powerful/wealthy and another for those too poor to buy it.

But go ahead Washington Post. Keep reminding us about stiff criticism from Republicans. But please don't go on to explain that it's because there's a fighting chance they're going to see what actual justice is like for a change. That would be beyond your understanding of integrity.
