11. Give credit to the anti-abortion crowd because for nearly 50 years

they never gave up the fight while too many on the Left became complacent figuring that Roe was a done-deal, settled law and a constitutional right. Many Republicans didn't like Trump but voted for him anyways because of his promise to appoint anti-abortion justices to the Supreme Court and he delivered for them. Then when the right had the power in the court and in the states they moved to use it leaving those of us on the Left dumbfounded.

What is the lesson here for those of us on the Left? Be vigilant and show up to vote for the nominee of the Democratic Party because partisan politics here is binary with the winner on nearly every race either the Democrat or the Republican. Even in solid red or blue states show your support for the Democratic candidate. Vote in elections at every level--local, state, and national because they all matter and local elections may have more of an impact on your daily lives, up-close and personal.
Sadly, too often too many of us on the Left are fickle and undependable voters needing to be excited and motivated to turn out and cast our ballots, something we should be doing like it's our duty, which it is. So when we have the GOP on the ropes we need not to let up and to finish the job. No excuses.
