Are notoriously underpaid for what we do. We’ve been short staffed for years and the abuse of the pandemic exacerbated it. Now we have even more patients, more incidences of patien-on-nurse violence and other abuse to deal with (thanks to Dolt45 and the GOPQ pushing anti-vaxx, anti-science bullshit).

Avoid for-profit hospitals, if you can, because they’re the worst for this sort of shit. Hospital Corporation of America, or HCA, is one example, and one of the biggest in the world (although not the system involved in this story).
