9. Mother Nature is mad at my wife and me

In 2017, our winter home, a sailboat in the Caribbean, was destroyed while in storage in the British Virgin Islands by Hurricane Irma.

In 2021, we lost our home and every possession in it due to the Dixie Fire in Plumas County, CA.

And, now, we have a home south of Hilo on the Big Island and have to worry about Mona Loa.

Not sure what we did, but she's pissed at us. 😅🤙
