(87 posts)One possible reason for requiring the dog to be neutered is that neutering reduces the amount of testosterone the dog produces - in turn reducing aggressive/violent behaviors. So it could be the courts were, in some fashion, attempting to avoid the ability to weaponize the dog.
Ive never heard of this before, but that is the only reason I can think of they would require that. As an animal advocate I am interested into reading his state statutes.
I believe all states restrict gun possession of parolees
. Many dont allow them in the same house. My brother has a child with a past. Where he lived, he was able to keep his hunting rifles under lock and key in a gun safe and still have his child live with him. However, if he had them, he would have had to get rid of handguns and things like that though.
