show just how short sighted they can be. I've watched it happen repeatedly. They overvalue the new and different without fully understanding either their customers or the reasons that they have them in the false belief that the company has them exclusively.

One other common feature of this kind of dumping is that product and service quality tends to decline markedly immediately after it.
