In practical terms, just being aware of a problem doesn’t fix it.

All the shouting and hoopla about transparency and “knowledge is power” is bullshit.

Knowledge is meant to be transformed into physical action if it’s to be useful. In this case, there are powerful think tanks that oppose the very knowledge/facts being offered. They oppose intelligence being transformed into good acts.

Therefore most people choose the shiny object.
