And a nationwide mandate is the right thing to do but it will be tied up in court and get on the bad side of too many people. Leave the mandate on the state or company level.

Have we ever had a nationwide mandate on vaccines?

I would much rather go with the higher premium for unvaccinated or unvaccinated people pay their own hospital bill kind of thing.
