3. The 13 y.o. was charged with felony murder in Family Court...

Felony murder can be charged when someone participated in another crime (typically robbery) during the course of which someone was killed. It is not a crime that would send the case to adult court for someone of this age.

He apparently identified his cohorts, one of whom has been detained, but has not been charged (as of now). The second teen is 14 years old.

The police are still looking for the third, who is being described as the person who stabbed her 6 times. They had already taken her stuff when he did so. It appears that the murder was caught on a camera in the park, so they must have a sense of how the events unfolded.
