In reply to the discussion: Father of Sandy Hook victim Avielle Richman found dead at Edmond Town Hall after apparent suicide [View all]PandoraAwakened
(905 posts)Had the unfortunate occasion of having to interact once with the bloviating, money-grubbing, domestic abuser otherwise known as Alex Jones.
Same psyche profile as tRump: Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). In the end, just another sad white man of privilege always playing the victim while joyfully and often maniacally victimizing others---even to the point of alternatingly making fun of murdered first-graders and then turning right around and saying these same children never existed. Truly a sick man.
On a different topic, I'm currently writing a story about a fictional character, a bombastic radio personality originally misdiagnosed with manic-depressive disorder who in fact has NPD. As a young man, he starts out on the side of good, infiltrating and videotaping secret enclaves of a certain political patriarchy where some truly sick shit is going on.
However, the older he gets and with each step closer he takes to the fire, the more his disease takes hold of his mind and the more he finds himself becoming the very essence of the evil he had initially sought to expose. Eventually, as is common to persons afflicted with NPD (a disease for which there is no cure), he becomes delusional and physically violent, even to his own family, which he inevitably loses.
However, because he has a radio platform to financially sustain him even as he moves from delusional outbursts to full-blown dementia, he becomes an actual danger to society and ends up inflicting horrific harm. No one will do anything about him because he is protected by the very same power structure he had sought to expose long ago who now own him as a tool for their own agenda.
Anyway, long story short (after much more character development on others whose lives he affects), one of his own children, plagued by years of abuse and emotional neglect from a narcissistic father who the son is nonetheless enamored with, ends up killing him with one of the many semi-automatics hanging throughout the radio agitator's home and studio (as a reminder to himself to incite gun violence amongst his listeners to ensure his sponsors keep feeding the cash cow his diseased mind tells him he so desperately needs above all else).
The son ends up incarcerated and the story ends in a therapy session where a psychiatrist is trying to get him to speak about his father. The young man looks at the doctor and says, "That's fake news. That man never existed at all."
May all who are stalked by such monsters find their own peace and happiness. Please reach out in these trying times to those most vulnerable amongst us.
