12. As a German teacher

I and other teachers and students were targeted by the so-called "Schiller Institute", a front for the Lyndon LaRouche organization. They used to hang up posters for free classical German music concerts as a way to lure students and teachers into their outfit, which, frankly, I used to consider cultlike. Of course, as soon as I saw them, I took their posters down. They had no permission to hang anything up on the department's bulletin board anyway.

It's my understanding they're still out there trying to draw support from the vulnerable and confused.
