It is ironic, though, because Bernie got rat-fucked by the Alt-left - if I understand the definition right, the alt-left hates neoliberal capitalism (count me in on that one), but is mostly about identity politics - so, basically these are the guys who destroyed Bernie's arguments for economic justice, which would actually have helped most Americans, in favor of the argument that social justice is more important than economic justice. To which I'd reply that to most Americans, economic justice is more important. But that lost him the primary - very interesting lesson in politics. And, no, I'm not refighting the primary - that was merely an observation of an ironic fact.

But you know, silly me. I just want single payer healthcare, which would make my life a whole lot better. In fact, Medicare for all Americans would make ALL of our lives better.
